Hi, I’m Jess - the photographer behind JSR Photographs.
My love for photography started back in college after receiving my very first Nikon camera for Christmas. From that moment on, I found myself taking photos of everything and anything - the little moments, the big moments, and all the in-between moments that often go unnoticed.
What started as a hobby quickly became something so much more. I always dreamed of turning something I loved into a true passion, and over the years, photography has become exactly that for me. Being able to freeze moments in time and create memories that families, couples, and parents can look back on forever is something I never take for granted.
Since becoming a mom myself, photography has taken on an even deeper meaning. I’ve realized just how quickly life moves and how important it is to capture the small details, genuine connections, and fleeting seasons of life before they pass by.
There’s truly no greater feeling than seeing my photos displayed in someone’s home, receiving Christmas cards in the mail featuring moments I captured, or hearing that a gallery made someone emotional in the best way. It all still feels surreal to me.
